At Password Dog, your privacy is our foundational principle. Because our password generation tool runs entirely on your local machine, we do not collect, transmit, or store any passwords you generate.
Log Files and Analytics
To understand how our tool is used and to improve user experience, we utilize a self-hosted Matomo analytics instance. This collects basic, anonymized telemetry (such as browser type, operating system, and which generator modes are most popular). We respect "Do Not Track" requests and have configured our analytics to maximize user anonymity.
Cookies and Third-Party Advertising
To keep Password Dog free, we display advertisements provided by Google AdSense. Google uses DART cookies to serve ads based on your visit to our site and other sites on the internet. These ad networks may collect your IP address to measure ad effectiveness. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings.
